We are launching a new initiative in collaboration with the Syrian Medical Board of Education to support medical training in Syria.

We are seeking SCMA-member physicians to volunteer for:
1⃣ Online lectures for medical residents in Syria
2⃣ On-site clinical workshops in hospitals under the Ministry of Health & Ministry of Higher Education

✨ The goal is to build specialty-based teaching programs that enhance clinical education for young doctors in Syria.

🔹 Requirements:
•⁠ ⁠Must be a member of SCMA
•⁠ ⁠Open to all specialties
•⁠ ⁠Participation may include online teaching and/or travel to Syria

The Syrian Canadian Medical Association (SCMA) announces its official establishment as a national, non-profit professional organization dedicated to supporting healthcare professionals of Syrian origin across Canada. SCMA’s mandate includes promoting education, research, collaboration, and humanitarian initiatives strengthening healthcare delivery.

Key objectives include:

– Strengthening professional collaboration

– Supporting medical licensing and training pathways

– Educational and scientific activities

– Research and global health engagement

– Coordinated medical relief and humanitarian missions
